What is Gestalt therapy?
Gestalt is a therapeutic approach focused on the experience of the present moment.
Unlike psychoanalysis, which explores the past and the unconscious, Gestalt therapy focuses on the here and now: it invites us to become aware of our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in the moment, in order to better understand and transform our way of relating to ourselves and others.
And even though we also evoke childhood, the goal of Gestalt therapy remains to become aware of our current mechanisms, to restore our power to change and create a new life path more aligned with who we are.
How a session works
In practical terms, a session is like a lively conversation (you won't be the only one talking!), where we will sometimes pause to listen to what the body is saying, what the emotions are telling us, or what you are expressing.
In this safe and confidential listening space, I do not give advice or ready-made answers; I accompany you so that together we can find your own, the ones that resonate with who you are.
A session lasts 45 minutes and is conducted via video chat.
Each session is unique, tailored to your pace and your needs.
The first session is an opportunity to meet. It allows us to get to know each other, discuss your expectations, and see if we want to continue working together. There is no pressure and no immediate commitment—just a first step.
Who is Gestalt therapy for?
I work with adults (18+) who want to understand themselves better and find more balance in their lives.
Therapy can be helpful in cases of:
-
periods of stress, fatigue, or anxiety,
-
relationship difficulties (in the family, at work, in a couple),
-
major transitions (separation, bereavement, career change, etc.),
-
feelings of being stuck, loss of meaning, or lack of confidence,
-
or simply a desire to get to know yourself better.
